How to Check the Suspicious Floor in Where Winds Meet ‘Echoes in the Shrine’ Quest

If you’re in the Echoes in the Shrine quest in Where Winds Meet and aren’t sure how to deal with the cracked ground at the shrine. This guide will walk you through it step by step, from starting the quest to breaking through the suspicious floor and exploring the cave below.

How to Start the Echoes in the Shrine

To start the Jianghu Legacy – Echoes in the Shrine quest, go find the Wayfarer of Verdant Wilds and talk to him. He’ll point you toward the General’s Shrine, so head over there.

When you arrive, you’ll see someone kneeling at the entrance. Go up and check on him. This is Zhang San. The first time you interact with him, he won’t respond. Just wait a moment until he collapses, then talk to him again. You’ll get a few dialogue options to wake him up: kick him or pat him gently, and you can pick any of them to continue the quest.

How to Check the Suspicious Floor

Once Zhang San walks away from the shrine. Walk up to the cracked floor, but don’t jump in yet. Talk to the boy nearby first he’ll tell you that his cuju ball fell onto the stone slab and that there’s a deep cave underneath it. This gives you the prompt to investigate, letting you break open the slab and drop down into the cave below. Stand right in the middle of that cracked spot and use a Mighty Drop when the game prompts you. You’ll break through and land in the cave below.

From there, just run toward the light ahead. You’ll come across a few points you can interact with along the way. Make sure to activate the one that lets you turn the citadel into a new teleport point. Keep going until you reach the end of the path, then open the chest and grab the items inside.
