In the Foreseeing Evil quest from the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, you will help Librarian Crispin protect himself from a spreading illness by collecting some herbs for him. Completing this short task not only helps the monastery’s residents but may also count toward the Do Good to All People trophy or achievement. This guide explains how to complete the Foreseeing Evil quest.
Foreseeing Evil Quest
After finishing the second DLC quest, Anamnesis, head over to the library and talk to Librarian Crispin. To unlock this missable quest, choose the dialogue option “I will help you to protect yourself from the illness” or simply fail one of the other skill checks.
Doing this will make Crispin ask you to find some herbs for him, which starts the Foreseeing Evil quest. If you pass the skill checks instead, he will just give you the information right away, and you will miss out on the quest entirely.
Get the Herbs
If you already have the herbs, you can finish the quest immediately. Otherwise, you will find the herbs in the following places:
- Get Mint: Found in the Woodland Garden southeast of the monastery. Go through the gate east of the infirmary to reach it. Mint has small green leaves and grows along the southern edge of the planter.
- Get Sage: Found in the same garden as Mint, but along the northern edge. Sage has purple flowers, making it easy to spot.
Once you have gathered 2 Mint and 2 Sage, return to Crispin in the library and hand them over. After that, you can ask him about aromatic oils, which will lead to the next quest, Prevention. If you’re aiming for the Do Good to All People trophy/achievement (helping the people of the monastery), it’s best to complete this quest, though it’s not yet confirmed if it’s strictly required for it.
