How to Get Back into The Sewers in Pokémon Legends Z-A

You’ll first go to the Lumiose City Sewers for the very first time as part of Main Mission 19 in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Once you complete that mission, the original sewer entrance is blocked off. If you want to head back in there to catch more Pokémon or complete side missions, there’s actually another route back in — you just need to know where it is.

Finding the Sewer Entrance After Mission 19

Following the completion of Mission 19, travel to Bleu Sector 3, which is west of Wild Zone 2 and south of Wild Zone 5. Locate a group of thin stairs in an alleyway behind two buildings on the east boundary of Bleu Sector 3.

  • Ascend the stairs, then proceed down the path to the left at the top.
  • Head down the walkway and you’ll come across an NPC offering the side mission “The Camerupt Entrepreneur” (Side Mission 057).
  • Along the route, you’ll come across patches of purple sludge to take care of — just run them over with whatever Water-type moves you have available to safely proceed.
  • When you open “The Camerupt Entrepreneur,” the NPC will move away from the metal gate that he was blocking. Speak to this gate in order to proceed to the Lumiose Sewers.
  • From this point forward, the sewer gate is a quick travel spot where you can go anytime without having to go the whole way back.

Pokémon that are found in Lumiose Sewers

The sewers have an assortment of Pokémon that include some found only in this area. The following is all that can be found there:

  • Patrat
  • Gastly
  • Haunter
  • Inkay
  • Skrelp
  • Dragalge
  • Goomy
  • Scraggy
  • Noibat
  • Klefki
  • Litwick

If you are attempting to complete filling up your Pokédex, be sure that you’ll only find Skrelp and Litwick here. You’ll likely have to make multiple return trips if you didn’t catch them on the initial run through your mission.

You might also find Alpha versions of Skrelp and Litwick in the sewers, but these are an unusual sighting — bring your best Poké Balls and patience if you’re going to attempt to catch one.
