Battlefield 6: Best Loadouts for Assault

The Battlefield 6 Assault class is no longer the sole front-line killer. Although it still takes point, now it also supports the squad in more supportive capacities — breaking defenses, creating new gaps, and still pushing objectives.

In this guide, we’ll tear down three of the top Assault loadouts in Battlefield 6, each crafted for a type of player — whether you’re up for close-quarters combat, explosive damage, or frontline leadership.

    The CQB Breacher

If breaching buildings and room clearing are your thing, this loadout is focused on quick, ugly fights where seconds matter.

    Recommended Loadout:

    • Primary Weapon: M433
    • Secondary Firearm (Sling): M87A1 Shotgun
    • Gadget: Breaching Projectile Launcher
    • Grenade: Stun Grenade
    • Melee: Sledgehammer
    • Field Spec: Breacher

The M433 is most effective up close, and when paired with the M87A1 shotgun, you have unbeatable close-range stopping power. The Breaching Projectile Launcher is basically a flashbang that you can fire through walls — perfect for blinding the enemy before you charge in.

Fire a Stun Grenade to discourage targets from fighting back, or quite literally make your own door with the Sledgehammer if the front door is too hostile.

This build is particularly good at close, urban maps like Empire State or Saint’s Quarter, where you can pin down enemy positions and take objectives within time. It fares poorly on open maps where long-range fights are the standard.

    The Grenadier

This rig turns you into a one-man wrecking crew. You’ll blow up cover, knock enemies loose, and control space with pure explosive force.

    Recommended Loadout:

    • Weapon: Choice rifle, carbine, or SMG
    • Gadget 1: Assault Ladder
    • Gadget 2: M320A1 HE Launcher
    • Grenade: Frag Grenade
    • Field Spec: Breacher

The star of the show is the M320A1 HE Launcher, with which you can explode walls and kill underground-buried enemies. Combine it with the Assault Ladder to get above the action — climb the heights and you’ll have better angles to drop explosives from afar without sustaining damage.

Any mid-range weapon like the SOR-556 assault rifle or M277 carbine is perfect here, keeping you mobile between explosive shots.

If you’d like to save full chaos mode for later, you can swap the M320A1 with the Thermobaric Grenade Launcher, which provides more damage and fear to whole squads.

    The Infiltrator

This build focuses on being in the frontlines and surviving alongside your squad while capturing objectives and pushing enemy lines.

    Recommended Loadout:

    • Weapon: Any weapon near medium range
    • Gadget 1: Deploy Beacon
    • Gadget 2: Assault Ladder
    • Grenade: Frag Grenade
    • Field Spec: Frontliner

The Frontliner Field Spec gives you and your allies the effect of Adrenaline Injectors, which gives you health regen and enables you to tank more fights on objective takes.

Here is where the Deploy Beacon comes in, which is unlocked at Rank 23 upon completion of the Assault 1 challenge. The Deploy Beacon is a deployable respawn point that allows your team to continue spawning close to objectives to apply constant pressure.

Keep your beacon hidden in strategic spots using the Assault Ladder to gain access to rooftops or balconies that the opposing team cannot access in a hurry. This loadout relies more on intelligent positioning and maintaining momentum in your favor.
