The Timekeeper’s New Shield is a powerful legendary shield in Borderlands 4 that can help you in the battle. Not only does it increases your maximum health and speed up health regeneration, but it also reduces the damage you take by a big chunk. In this guide, we’ll walk you through where to find him, how to beat him, and what makes this shield so strong.
How To Get Timekeeper’s New Shield Legendary Shield

You can farm this from The Timekeeper, who’s found in the Upper Dominion area, specifically in the Terminus District. Keep in mind, it only becomes available after you complete the main mission “The Timekeeper’s Order.”
How to defeat the Timekeeper

The Timekeeper is a tough fight with three health segments shield (blue), armor (yellow), and flesh (red). He uses a mix of flashy and dangerous abilities to deal damage. He’ll fire lasers and projectiles that spread out across the arena, and sometimes he’ll create a Golden Wall, shielding himself while floating mechanisms attack you. You can still damage him during this, but you’ll need things like grenades that split or leave lingering effects. Another tricky move is his Blinding Blast the ground glows gold, then flashes, so you have to quickly turn away to avoid it. During Aerial Assaults, he tosses you into the air and fires massive projectiles as you fall, forcing you to glide to safe spots to survive.
Once you completely deplete all his health bars, a cutscene triggers. The Timekeeper comes back stronger. In this second phase, he adds new attacks. He can shoot Fragment Scatter, where the fragments explode into a crisscrossing energy field. If you get too close, his Bounce and Blast can fling you into the air and leave you vulnerable to energy attacks, so you’ll need to quickly get back onto solid ground if pushed out. His Aerial Annihilation phase makes parts of the ground dangerous, and you’ll have to grapple to floating ledges to avoid his beams and projectiles.
