The Howl region in Borderlands 4 is packed with hidden collectibles, including Propaganda Speakers, ECHO Logs, Dead Bolts, Survivalist Caches, Lost Capsules, Vault items, and an Evocarium. In total, there are 22 collectible locations spread across this area. This guide will help you find every item, showing exactly where to go and what to look for so you don’t miss a single collectible.
All Collectibles in The Howl
The Howl region in Borderlands 4 has a total of 22 collectible locations. Here’s a complete list of all the items you can find there.
1. Propaganda Speaker


The first Propaganda Speaker in this area is found in a Ripper Camp on the central-west side. To get there, start at The Kit Hole Order Silo and head northwest through the woods. Follow the path until you reach the Ripper Camp. Once there, you’ll see the speaker sitting on a platform at the top of the camp.
2. Propaganda Speaker


The second Propaganda Speaker in The Howl is tucked away in the southeastern corner of the area. To get there, just follow the road that heads southeast from The Launchpad. It’s hard to miss this speaker sits right in the middle of an open field just outside a farm.
3.Echo Log


This ECHO Log is sitting on a hay bale, right across from a nearby barn.
4. Echo Log


This ECHO Log is inside The Launchpad building, the one with the Guns and Dr. Zed’s Meds vending machines outside.

This ECHO Log is on the northeast side of The Launchpad, sitting on top of a blue diving board.
6. Echo Log


You’ll find it at The Launchpad, but it’s behind a locked door. To get inside, you’ll need to start a nearby side quest called The Kairos Job.
7. Echo Log


The Safe Cracker ECHO Log is located just north of The Launchpad. Cross a small bridge, and you’ll see a well and a small house. The log is sitting on top of a chair near the house.
8. Eco Log


The Hello, World ECHO Log is perched on top of a large white tower southwest of The Kit Hole Order Silo. Once you reach the top, you’ll find it sitting on an orange crate.
9. Echo Log


This ECHO Log is on the northeast side of The Howl, just north of Horace’s Oversight, sitting atop a tall white tower.
10. Echo Log


After you recruit two people for Shim during The Kairos Job, the door will unlock. Following the side mission inside will lead you to this ECHO Log.
11. Dead Bolt


The first Dead Bolt is located northwest of The Kit Hole Order Silo. If you can, start at The Kit Hole and head northwest into the woods. You’ll come across a large Kratch nest area look around, and you’ll spot a nest with the Dead Bolt sitting on it.

The next Dead Bolt in The Howl section of the Fadefields is closest to Shut-Eye Keep. If you’ve unlocked the safehouse, start by teleporting there.From Shut-Eye Keep, go west and follow the road northwest. After a short distance, take a left and head southwest across a lake. By the lake, you’ll come across a small camp with a dead NPC and nearby, you’ll find the Dead Bolt.
13. Survivalist Cache


Go southeast into the water and look toward the wall near the cache. You’ll notice a hole in the wall enter it, and you’ll find the cache inside.
14. Survivalist Cache


Go into the cave located southeast of the cache icon, right by the side of the road. Walk straight to the back, then use your grapple to climb up to the left. Once you’re on top, start making your way back toward the entrance. When you reach the broken bridge facing the cave entrance, look to your right you’ll see another ledge. Head over there, and you’ll find the cache sitting next to a shack.
15. Survivalist Cache


You’ll come across a grate you can climb. Go up, enter the tunnel, and follow it all the way to the end. Once there, defeat all the enemies, and a door to the south will open.
16. Lost Capsule


The Lost Capsule is located on the porch.

The Lost Capsule is hidden inside a cave. Collecting it will reward you with 15 SDU.

The Lost Capsule can be found on a shelf inside the house.
19. Vault Symbol

At The Launchpad, start from the south entrance and make your way to the underground bunker. When you get there, drop down near the pipes on your right.
20. Vault Hunter’s Guide


The Vault Hunter’s Guide to Kairos is located in The Howl, northeast of the region’s center. You’ll spot it hanging next to a lean-to.
21. Vault Fragment


This one is up a mountain. Approach from the north side of the icon and climb the rocks. The fragment is on a plateau halfway up, not at the very top. To know all the locations of other Vault fragments read our article on “All Primordial Vault & Fragment Locations – Borderlands 4”
22. Evocarium


The Evocarium can be found in The Howl section of the Fadefields. There’s only one here, and it’s tucked away in the Wreck of the Maester, located in the northwestern corner of The Howl. You’ll naturally pass through this area while doing the Savage Salvage side mission.
When you get to the Wreck of the Maester, you’ll spot the Evocarium on a ledge near where you rescue an NPC during the mission. Around this main Evocarium, the nodes appear in a few nearby spots: on the same ledge to the east in a dome-shaped hut, just past that hut on another ledge, and in another dome hut across the bridge from the first node.
