How to Unlock Howl Safehouse Fast Travel in Borderlands 4 (Shut-eye Keep Safehouse)

If you’re trying to unlock the Howl Safehouse fast travel point in Borderlands 4, you’ll need to clear out Shut-eye Keep first. This guide will walk you through the whole process step by step from finding the location, grabbing the Datapad, and capturing the command console, all the way to securing the Safehouse and earning your rewards. It’s a pretty straightforward run, and once you finish, you’ll have a new fast travel spot unlocked in the Howal region.

How to Unlock Howl Safehouse Fast Travel

Shut-eye Keep is located in the Howal region. On your map, it’s marked on the eastern side, so that’s where you’ll want to head. When you arrive, you’ll run into a bunch of enemies. If you’re on a lower difficulty, you might be able to sprint past them, but on harder modes, it’s better to clear them out first. Head inside the building and look for the elevator. Pull the lever to activate it and ride it up.

Reaching the Datapad

At the top, follow the path forward and then swing left. Keep going through the next area until you come to a room with an enemy hanging around inside. Around the corner in this room, you’ll spot a spot to climb up. Use it, and you’ll find the Datapad. Grab it, and after a moment your objective will update.

Capturing the Command Console

Once you’ve collected the Datapad, head back down toward the command console. You may have to clear a couple more enemies here. When it’s safe, interact with the console and hold the button until it’s captured. That completes the main objective.

Rewards and Completion

With the console claimed, the Safehouse is now secured. You’ll earn 40 SDU points, and Shut-eye Keep will officially be under your control.
