All Legendary Weapons and Items Locations

Legendary weapons can boost your build and make the game easier. It’s super helpful to know where to find them. Most of the Legendary Weapons are tied to certain bosses, and each time you defeat them, there is a small chance they will drop that exact item. We will update all the remaining information as soon as we get to know about it.

Fadefields  – Legendary Weapons and Items

The Fadefields is the first area you will explore in Borderlands 4. It’s filled with open grassy plains and forested spots. You will come across bosses like Splashzone, Idolator Sol, and Inceptus here, all of them can drop specific Legendary items if you farm them.

Lead Balloon

You can get the Lead Balloon from a boss named Splashzone in the Fadefields. You will fight them during the main quest “Recruitment Drive”. Head to the Coastal Bonescape or Riptide Grotto to find them and farm the weapon.

Effect: The Lead Balloon is a legendary shotgun in Borderlands 4, made by Torgue. What makes this weapon special is how its shots behave. When you fire it, the projectiles slowly float upward instead of flying straight, and when they explode, they break into smaller projectiles.

Fireworks

Firewerks is another legendary drop from Splashzone. It has a flashy explosive effect and is worth farming early in the game. Just follow the “Recruitment Drive” story mission and hunt Splashzone in the Coastal Bonescape.

Effect: When you get a kill with this weapon, it automatically launches missiles that track and hit nearby enemies on their own.

Jelly

This sticky and fun weapon is also dropped by Splashzone. You will get it while doing the Recruitment Drive mission in the Riptide Grotto area of the Fadefields.

Effect: Jelly creates copies of itself every time it bounces.

Darkbeast

To get Darkbeast, you will need to defeat Voraxis, also known as the “Quake Thresher.” You encounter it during the “Crystal Brawl” mission. Look for it in Timid Kyle’s Neglected Opening, located in the Coastal Bonescape.

Effect: This SMG comes with some pretty wild features. Its special perk, Parley, makes every bullet able to pierce through enemies, and on top of that, there’s a small 5% chance that each hit will trigger an explosion dealing about 2,632 damage. Instead of a normal clip, it uses a CoV-style magazine, meaning you never actually have to reload the catch is that it overheats if you push it too far, and once it breaks, you’ll need to wait before firing again. To mix things up even more, the gun has a secondary fire mode that switches over to using assault rifle ammo.

Potato Thrower IV

This oddly named weapon drops from Voraxis too. Complete the Crystal Brawl story quest and you will find him in the Abandoned Auger Mine area in the Fadefields.

Effect: The Potato Thrower IV is a legendary assault rifle in Borderlands 4 made by the Torgue manufacturer, featuring a unique “Spud Gun” effect where the secondary fire consumes shotgun ammo to use the weapon as a spinning blade

Streamer

Streamer drops from a boss called The Oppressor, found during the story quest “A Lot To Process.” You’ll find this enemy lurking in the Dissected Plateau area, specifically at The Killing Floors.

Effect: The Streamer is a legendary heavy weapon made by Ripper in Borderlands 4, and it’s definitely not your average launcher. Its special ability, called Delegation, fires off projectiles that don’t just explode on impact they actually stay in place and shoot out a constant beam in front of them.

Asher’s Rise

Another powerful drop from The Oppressor, this weapon is great for elemental builds. Just complete A Lot To Process and look for him in the Fadefields, near the Killing Floors.

Effect: Asher’s Rise is a legendary sniper rifle from Maliwan in Borderlands 4, and it comes with a pretty unique twist. Its special perk, Slow Burn, changes how your critical hits work. Instead of dealing extra damage like most snipers, every crit shot you land applies a status effect to the target, letting you burn, shock, or melt enemies over time rather than blowing them away in a single hit.

Blood Analyser

This scientific-sounding item also drops from The Oppressor. It’s available during the same mission and location, so you can farm for all three legendaries in one run.

Effect: The Blood Analyzer is a legendary repkit from Maliwan in Borderlands 4, and it’s a lifesaver when you’re dealing with elemental damage. Its special ability, Immunity Shot, kicks in when you use it giving you temporary immunity to whatever type of elemental damage hit you last.

Waterfall

Bio-Bulkhead drops the Waterfall weapon, and you will face it during the “One Fell Swoop” mission. Look for this boss in the Synthetic Nave, located within the Dissected Plateau.

Effect: The Waterfall is a legendary grenade made by Vladof in Borderlands 4, and it packs some serious extra punch. Thanks to its special perk, also called Waterfall, every time this grenade hits a target it doesn’t just explode once it triggers extra explosions, chaining the damage and making it even more destructive.

Budget Deity

This cost-effective killing machine also comes from Bio-Bulkhead. Track the boss during the One Fell Swoop mission and farm it in the Dissected Plateau.

Effect: The Budget Deity is a legendary pistol from Tediore in Borderlands 4, and it’s got a flashy trick up its sleeve. Its special ability, D.O.P.E. Buoys, makes the gun throw out two combo orbs. Any enemies that get hit by those orbs are instantly tagged with an Atlas-style target lock, making them much easier to track and hit afterward.

Sho Kunai

Also dropped by Bio-Bulkhead, the Sho Kunai is a sleek throwable weapon you will definitely want. Fight the boss in the Synthetic Nave while doing the One Fell Swoop story quest.

Effect: The Sho Kunai is a legendary grenade from Jakobs in Borderlands 4, and it’s all about speed and momentum. Its special perk, Ninja Speed, gives you a 10% boost to movement speed every time you land a hit. The effect stacks up to seven times, so with consecutive hits you can get really fast for a short burst, making it great for quick, agile playstyles.

Ravenfire

This fiery weapon is dropped by Inceptus, the Primordial Guardian. You will face them after collecting all of the Fadefields Vault Key Fragments, so make sure to complete that objective first.

Effect: The Ravenfire is a legendary heavy weapon from Torgue in Borderlands 4, and it’s built to make things go boom in a big way. Its special ability, 621, makes every shot cause explosions that spread outward from where the projectile lands, blasting everything nearby instead of just the impact point.

Extra Medium

Another unique drop from Inceptus, Extra Medium is perfect for tankier builds. It becomes available once you gather the Vault Key Fragments in the Dissected Plateau.

Effect: The Extra Medium is a legendary energy shield from Maliwan in Borderlands 4, and it’s perfect if you like a little extra bang with your defense. Its special perk, Nucleosynthesis, makes the shield explode both when it completely fills up and when it gets fully drained, damaging anything unlucky enough to be nearby.

Husky Friend

This chunky companion weapon drops from Inceptus as well. After unlocking the Vault, make your way to the Arch of Inceptus and defeat the boss to claim it.

Effect: The Husky Friend is a legendary shotgun from Tediore in Borderlands 4, and it comes with a handy alternate fire mode. Instead of just blasting away like a normal shotgun, you can switch to Husky Auto Turret mode, which lets you deploy a turret that fights alongside you, laying down extra firepower while you keep moving.

Stop Gap

Also dropped by Backhive, the Stop Gap is great for shields and survivability. Farm the same boss during the Crystal Brawl quest in the Dissected Plateau.

Effect: The Stop-Gap is a legendary shield from Hyperion in Borderlands 3, and it’s a real lifesaver when things get rough. Whenever your shield breaks, it makes you completely immune to all damage for five seconds, giving you a chance to recover or finish off enemies. The catch is that the shield has to fully recharge before this effect can trigger again. On top of that, it comes with two random extra perks and has a high capacity, making it even sturdier.

Aegon’s Dream

To get this dreamy weapon, fight Horace during the mission “Down and Outbound.” He can be found in Horace’s Oversight, located in the Hungering Plain area.

Effect: The Aegon’s Dream is a legendary assault rifle from Vladof in Borderlands 4, and it’s all about mixing elements. Its special perk, Prophetic, makes every shot alternate between cryo and fire damage, so you’re freezing and burning enemies at the same time. If you switch it into underbarrel mode, the left barrel fires cryo rounds while the right one spits out fire, giving you precise control over which element you want to unleash.

Peacemaker

Another one from Horace, this weapon is a good all-rounder. Defeat him during the Down and Outbound story quest in the Hungering Plain.

Effect: Peacemakers use a Jakobs barrel, which means they hit harder than most pistols but fire more slowly and kick back a lot more. The burst fire isn’t very reliable at long range because of that recoil, but up close, these pistols can deal way more damage than most other Dahl sidearms.

Lucky Clover

This item is a lucky charm that drops from Horace too. If you’re farming him, you might as well try for this one as well.

Effect: The weapon’s special ability, Kismet, makes it fire two homing rockets every time you reload, and each rocket can deal up to 2,580 damage. It also comes with a Torgue-licensed impact magazine, which changes the ammo into gyrojets basically mini-rockets that explode on impact for extra splash damage. On top of that, there’s an Order part built in, which lets you charge your shots. By holding the trigger, you can fire multiple rounds at once instead of just one, giving you a powerful burst when you need it.

Disc Jockey

Also from Sydney Pointylegs, this musical mayhem weapon drops at the same spot. Visit The Prospects and clear the drill site.

Effect: The Disc Jockey is a legendary heavy weapon from Ripper in Borderlands 4, and it fires more than just regular shots. Its special perk, Bouncing Biscuits, launches energy discs that can bounce off surfaces up to five times. With each bounce, the discs get stronger, stacking an extra 20% damage every time they ricochet, which makes them deadlier the longer they stay in play.

Buoy

Buoy is another legendary from Voraxis. After reaching the mine section during the Crystal Brawl mission, make sure to farm the boss to try for this item.

Mega Triple Bypass

The Backhive boss drops this tech-heavy weapon. You will encounter it during the “Crystal Brawl” mission. Head to The Claim or the Abandoned Auger Mine to find the fight.

Swarm

The third drop from Sydney, Swarm is a chaotic crowd-control weapon. Keep farming her at the Ripper Drill Site to collect all three.

Effect: The Grenade Ordnance in Borderlands 4 is a unique weapon with some wild features. Its Parley effect lets your bullets pierce through enemies, and there’s a 5% chance on hit to trigger a small explosion that deals 2,632 damage. Thanks to the CoV-Licensed Magazine, the gun has an unlimited magazine, though it can overheat and eventually break if overused. On top of that, its secondary fire uses assault rifle ammo, giving you some versatility in combat.

Onion

Sludgemaw drops this tear-jerking weapon. You will find it during the “All Charged Up” side mission, in the Idolator’s Noose zone.

Effect: This weapon comes with some powerful perks in Borderlands 4. The Chief Execution Officer ability boosts your damage by 30% against enemies below 30% health, making finishing them off much easier. The Jakobs-Licensed Accessory causes your critical hits to fire ricochet projectiles that can hit nearby enemies. On top of that, the Ripper feature makes the gun charge up before it goes into full-auto mode, letting you unleash a controlled but devastating spray.

Onslaught

A heavy-hitting weapon from Idolator Sol, found during the same mission. Just progress through Rush the Gate to reach the fortress.

Golden God

This flashy and powerful weapon also drops from Idolator Sol. Complete the mission and keep farming him for your shot at all three legendaries.

Effect: The Chaumurky is a legendary grenade from Order in Borderlands 4, and it doesn’t let up once you throw it. Thanks to its special perk, Incessant, the grenade will keep homing in on a target nonstop until it makes contact, making it almost impossible for enemies to escape.

Bloody Lumberjack

Another drop from the Foundry Freaks, this weapon is as brutal as its name. No story quest is needed, just clear the drill site.

Complex Root

Mimicron drops this weapon at the Tipping Point Order Bunker. Head into Idolator’s Noose to find and fight them.

Effect: The Complex Root is a legendary sniper rifle from Maliwan in Borderlands 4, and it’s not your typical straight-shot sniper. Its special perk, Sierpinski, makes extra projectiles branch off from the main shot as it travels, creating a spread of energy bolts that can hit multiple targets or deal extra damage along the way.

UAV

Also from Mimicron, the UAV is a techy support-style weapon. Explore the Tipping Point bunker to find it.

Effect: The Luty Madlad is a legendary SMG from Daedalus in Borderlands 4, and it’s got a wild personality. Its special trait, Homemade Ingenuity, makes the gun heat up really fast when you’re firing, but the upside is it also cools down just as quickly, so you’re back in action sooner. It always comes with a CoV-style magazine, meaning you don’t reload in the usual way you just keep shooting until it overheats.

Defibrillator

This shock-based weapon drops from the Core Observer. Look for it in the Blacklime Bunker, located in The Howl region.

Effect: The Defibrillator is a legendary repkit from Jakobs in Borderlands 4, and it’s designed to save your skin in clutch moments.
