If you want the Peace Walker trophy in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, you’ll need to beat the game without killing anyone. That means every soldier and boss has to be taken down in non-lethal ways only. It might sound tough, but with the right approach and tools, it’s definitely doable, and it’s also the key to unlocking some of the game’s highest rank titles.
Peace Walker Trophy in MGS: Snake Eater
The PEACE WALKER trophy is all about finishing the game without killing a single human enemy. That means no soldiers and no bosses, just non-lethal takedowns all the way.
You won’t get a special item for doing this, but it’s an important requirement if you’re aiming for the top-rank titles like FOXHOUND or DOBERMAN. If you’re not sure whether you’ve slipped up, you can check anytime. Just pause the game, go to Records and Titles, and look under the Records (Now) tab. The stat called Humans Killed will show your current kill count.
How to Get Peace Walker Trophy by Not Killing Anyone
Any time you take down a soldier or boss in a lethal way, it counts as a kill. For a No Kill run (needed for those top-rank titles), you’ll need to stick to non-lethal methods like tranquilliser shots or CQC knockouts.
Don’t worry too much about enemies getting caught in explosions or traps, though if they die from environmental hazards (like barrels or traps), the game won’t blame you for it. If you want an easier time, use the EZ Gun. It’s unlocked when you play on Very Easy difficulty. This weapon is basically a tranquilliser pistol with infinite ammo that never needs suppressors. On top of that, it boosts your camo index, making you harder for enemies to notice.
