All Camo & Face Paint Locations in Metal Gear Solid 3 Delta

In Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, camouflage makes up a lot of stealth. There are many different camos and face paints, and some even grant you bonuses like infinite battery or unlimited grenades. You start out with a small number of camo patterns, but as you traverse the jungles and complete objectives, you’ll unlock more, some of which are accessible if there is a MGS title that you prefer at the beginning. This guide outlines all camo patterns, face paints, and how to unlock each one.

Camo Patterns

There are a total of 61 camo patterns. DLC and Digital Deluxe skins do not count towards the “A Snake Has Many Skins” trophy. You can also ignore the Stealth or AT-Camo because those are not required for trophies, just other achievements.

Special Unlocks

AT-Camo: Earned by shooting all 64 GA-KO ducks.

Stealth: Get it by either finding all 64 Kerotan frogs or completing the game without alerting enemies.

Face Paints

A total of 25 face paints exist, but the DLC or Digital Deluxe variants are not necessary to earn the main trophy.

Default Face Paints

No Paint, Mask, Woodland, Splitter, Black.

Story/Location Unlocks

Zombie

Rassvet, behind barrels near the fence.

Oyama

Snow

Bolshaya Past Base, in trenches under a wooden walkway.

Water

In Ponizovje South, by the river that flows toward The Pain Cave, accessible after obtaining the keycard in Graniny Gorki.

Kabuki

Tikhogornyj, at the bottom of a pool near a waterfall.

Post-Game Face Paints

Soviet Union, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Japan, USA, Green, Brown, Infinity (requires finishing with a live Tsuchinoko).

DLC Face Paints

Every camouflage pattern and face paint you unlock will remain available when you start a New Game Plus. While there’s a lot to collect, the majority are either post-game rewards, earned by non-lethal boss fights, or through challenges like capturing a Tsuchinoko or finding Kerotans. So during your first run, you only need to actively go after a small selection.
