Plasma Launcher in Abyssus
The Plasma Launcher is a super-powerful gun, but it runs out of ammo really fast. So, keep an eye on how much you are using. It’s perfect for taking down big bosses with lots of limbs or groups of enemies in one area.
It’s also a great weapon to use during Elite Battles or fast-paced fights where you need to deal heavy damage quickly. If you have got charms that boost explosive power or firing speed, even better, they will make the Plasma Launcher hit even harder.
How to Unlock Plasma Launcher
To get your hands on the Plasma Launcher, you will need to finish the “Blazing Weapon” challenge and make it to Act 4, Stage 1. But your run has to be under 35 minutes to unlock the weapons room. Once you are there, turn around and look for a gap. To get across, use a jump, then a dash, and another jump.
The important part isn’t how quickly you get to the boss; it’s how quickly you kill him once the fight starts. Use the Tesla Coil’s purple “auto aim” mod. It creates multiple beams that stack up and triple your close-range damage. Use Goldfall upgrades stacked on its main attack, around 1k gold, and a few key mods: +50 ammo, faster fire rate with extended firing, and bonus damage while continuously firing.
When you reach the final stage with the red, white, and black theme, head up the stairs. You will first come across the room with the timed treasure chest and the health podium (if you have unlocked them). From there, go up the next set of stairs. On your left is the big red/black/white area, but the real thing you are looking for is to the right, a door that should now be unlocked. Inside that room is the plasma weapon.
