This guide walks you through the whole process step-by-step, from starting the quest and getting past customs, to finding the whisky and triggering the next cutscene so you can get it done smoothly without missing anything.
How to Start the Quest in Mafia: The Old Country
When you arrive in Port Almaro, hop off your horse and follow Luca and Cesare into a nearby alley. Luca will tell you to hang back while he handles the introductions. After the cutscene, walk with Leo toward the customs yard. He’ll explain that you’ll need to sneak in through the back while he distracts the guard. Follow Cesare, and when you reach the wall, he’ll give you a boost over.
Once inside, crouch behind the wooden crates of fruit and wait for the two guards ahead to finish their conversation. When one of them walks away, quietly take down the remaining guard, loot his body for a Coin, and hide him in the large blue chest nearby. Keep moving while staying low behind more crates. Toss a Coin to lure the next guard, then take him down when he’s close enough. Loot his body and stash it in the same kind of blue chest.
From here, head past the yellow objective marker for the Impound Yard, then turn left. Go into the office at the end and deal with the guard inside. If you’re looking for the safe code 21-10-08, you can find it in the Impound Yard’s Incident Reports sitting on the brown cabinet nearby.
How to Find the Whisky in Mafia: The Old Country
First, you’ll need to track down the right whisky crate. Of course, it’s all the way at the very back of the warehouse, right next to a car. From your starting spot, head to the right, and you’ll spot a desk with a Whetstone on it, plus plenty of bottles you can throw to distract the guards. There are three guards in this section, and they don’t stick together much, so take them out one by one as you work your way toward the car. Once you’ve found the whisky crates, interact with the impound door to start the next cutscene.
