If you are looking for all the best gear in Grounded 2, you are in the right place. This guide will help you find all 19 unique weapons and trinkets in the game. Some of them are hidden in tricky places, some drop from tough bugs, and a few just take a bit of luck. We will walk you through where to find each one and what you will need to get them.

All 19 Unique Weapons and Trinkets Locations

Unique Weapons in Grounded 2 are special versions of regular weapons that you can find hidden in secret spots around the yard. It looks like they were made and left behind by someone called the Masked Stranger. These weapons are stronger than the normal ones and have cool, one of a kind effects you won’t find anywhere else. You can’t craft them, and there’s only one of each.

Trinkets are special items you can wear that give you helpful effects while you play, like extra damage, healing, or other boosts. You can only wear one at a time, and it goes in your “Accessories” slot. Below are all the 19 Unique Weapons and Trinkets Locations.

    1. Heatwave

This one is located right in the centre of the Fire Pit, at the bottom. You need to be careful here; it is super hot down there. You will need protection from the heat, Sizzle Protection and a tier 2 Omni-Hammer to break through the charcoal blocking the way.

    2. Ice Sickles

You can unlock the Ice Sickles by protecting the frozen ones stored in the ice cream cart. Just defend them successfully to get the reward.

    3. Bushwackers

You will find the Bushwacker hidden in a hedge on the left side of Pine Hill. Climb up through the branches, reach the top, and cross over to a secret spot inside the hedge. It is on a leaf in a chest. Take an Orb Weaver Buggy to get there.

    4. Myrmecologist Token

You can find this token inside the Snackbar Anthill. Head down the right path, go past the two pebbles, and you will find a chest with the token inside.

    5. Gloom Weaver

The Gloom Skewer is a powerful upgraded spear, great for taking down ants and cockroaches. It’s located deep within the Toxic Anthill, but be prepared the Cockroach Queen is watching over it.

To get there, head to the South Entrance of the Toxic Anthill, which is in the Snackbar Front area. Once you are inside, take the first left and follow the tunnel. Keep going until you reach a room with two spray cans and a donut hanging near the ceiling. Exit that room by taking a right, then carefully make your way through the pesticide puddles ahead.

Eventually, you will reach a staircase leading up to a big cavern. You should spot the Cockroach Queen walking around inside. After you defeat her, look around the cavern for a small nook that’s blocked by mushrooms. Chop them down, and you will find the Gloom Skewer waiting for you inside.

    6. Scarlet Aegis Shield

One of the Stranger’s covert lairs contains a special shield called the Scarlet Aegis. It comes with two useful perks: Heavy Shield, which lets you fully block damage while using less stamina, and Parry Buggie Heal, which heals nearby buggies when you land a Perfect Block.

To find it, head to the Ceremony region and look for a tunnel entrance just south of the giant microphone. Go inside, but be prepared there are scorpions in the tunnel, along with marble and quartzite you can collect along the way. Keep an eye out for a cracked wall down a side path on the right. Blow it open to reveal a hidden room. Inside, you will see a chest on the left side of the room that’s where you will find the Scarlet Aegis.

    7. Crimson Avenger

The Crimson Avenger is a sword specially designed to take down spiders, and you will find it hidden deep inside the Spider Den Anthill. It’s actually tucked away in something called the Memorial Crate.

To get there, start at the North Entrance of the Spider Den Anthill, which is in Pine Hill near the Worm Holes candy container. Once inside, go straight through the first two intersections. At the third one, take a right into a room filled with spider eggs. Look to the right side of that room you will see a hole. Head through it and take the stairs up.

Keep following the path, and it will eventually lead you into the Memorial Crate. Inside, look around the base of the crate near a Hot Chacha candy that’s where the Crimson Avenger is.

    8. Roach Rage Trinket

You can get Roach Rage by defeating the General Berserker. It drops as a reward after the fight.

    9. Shivering Scale

You can get the Shivering Scale as a random drop when you defeat a blue butterfly in the game. It’s not guaranteed every time, so you might have to take down a few before one drops.

Blue Butterflies might look pretty, but don’t let that fool you, they are tougher than they seem and can hit you with powerful freeze attacks. They are resistant to club-type smash attacks and cold, Fresh damage. However, they have a weakness to slashing weapons and anything with a spicy, burning effect, so come prepared.

    10. Fluffy Dandelion

The Fluffy Dandelion Tuft Trinket is a random drop you can get from chopping down dandelions. It doesn’t drop every time, so you might need to cut a few before you find one.

You can find Dandelions all over Brookhollow Park, but the easiest spot to get them is near the Snackbar Front. It’s one of the first places you will come across when you start exploring the park, so it’s a great place to stock up early on.

    11. Blistering Boiler

The Blistering Boiler is a random drop you can get by defeating bombardier beetles. It won’t drop every time, so you might have to take down a few to get it.

These medium-sized bugs have green backs and aren’t too hard to deal with, but watch out they spit acid that causes a sizzling effect. A good place to find a couple of them is near the Ranger Outpost: Snackbar.

    12.  Cleaving Claw

You can get the Cleaving Claws as a random drop from the Praying Mantis. It’s not guaranteed, so you might need to defeat it more than once to get the item.

You can get the Praying Mantis Chunk, Claw, and Head as loot by defeating the Praying Mantis in Grounded 2. You will find this boss in the area where the Ceremony, Grass Games, and Statue regions all come together.

    13. Everlasting Hogstopper

The Everlasting Hog Stopper can drop when you chop up hot dogs, the ones labelled Billy Dogs, or when you defeat Cockroach Queens. It’s not a guaranteed drop, so you might need to try a few times.

Billy Hog Bites are a food item you can get by harvesting Billy Hogs. They are a handy snack and can also be used as a resource for crafting or cooking. Just find a Billy Hog and break it apart to collect the bites.

    14. Eco Exploitation Token

You will find this token on the body of Employee 211, located inside the Spider Den Anthill. Just search their remains to collect them.

    15. Stabby Stinger

The Stabby Stinger is a random drop you can get by defeating scorpions. It won’t drop every time, so you might need to fight a few to get your hands on it.

You can find Northern Scorpions in the Statue Gardens, just outside the Ranger Outpost: Flower Beds. They also show up in a few other spots across the map. One place to check is northeast of the Picnic Table, near the border with the Fire Pit.

    16. Spectacular Spicy Shard

The Spectacular Spicy Shard is a random drop you can get from breaking spicy candy. It doesn’t always drop, so you might need to break a few pieces before you find one.

Spicy Shards are a resource you get by breaking apart Spicy Candy. You can also sometimes find them as loot when digging up Buried Treasure, so keep an eye out while exploring.

    17. Suspicious mint

The Suspicious Mint is a random drop you can get by breaking mint chunks. It won’t show up every time, so you might need to break a few to get lucky.

Mint Shards come from those big mints you will see scattered around the world. To break them and collect the shards, you will need to upgrade your Omni-Hammer to level 2. Once you have the right tool, smash them open to grab the minty pieces inside.

    18. Fancy Fletching

The Fancy Fletching is a random drop you can get from harvesting crow feathers. It doesn’t always drop, so you might need to collect feathers from a few different spots before you find one.

Crow Feather Pieces are collected by harvesting Crow Feathers, which are dropped by the giant Crow you will see around the yard. Just find a feather and break it apart to gather the pieces which are useful for crafting.

    19. Pinch Whacker

You can find Pinch Whacker inside an O.R.C. cave just north of the Fire Pit. It is hidden behind a cracked rock. To get to it, you will need to throw an explosive to remove the rock.
