How To Make The Coaltana Weapon in Grounded-2
The Spicy Coaltana is a powerful two-handed weapon in Grounded 2. You can unlock the crafting recipe for it by scanning one of its key materials at a Resource Analyser. It’s a Tier 3 weapon, meaning it’s one of the strongest options available right now. The Coaltana deals slashing damage and is great for taking on tougher enemies once you’ve gathered the right materials.
Step 1: Get the Sizzling Key
To get started, you’ll need the Sizzling Key, which is essential for unlocking the spicy globs required to craft the weapon. You can get the Sizzling Key by defeating the final boss of the current version of the game, The Stranger and the Wolf Spider. Once they’re down, loot the key from the desk nearby.
Step 2: Unlock Spicy Globs
Now that you have the Sizzling Key, head over to the Pinehill area. Look around for a hidden chest; it’s tucked away but can be opened using the key you just got. Inside, you’ll find the Spicy Globs, which are a key ingredient for the Spicy Coaltana.
Step 3: Collect EverChar Coal
While you’re near Pinehill, make your way to the fire pit. This is where you’ll find EverChar Coal, another required material. The area is very hot, so bring sizzling protection gear if you have it, or you’ll start taking damage from the heat.

You’ll also need 4 Wolf Spider Parts. If you defeated the final boss earlier, you probably already have some of these. But if not, you can find a Wolf Spider hiding in the lectern area. Be ready for a fight!
