The quest takes place in Chapter Four, inside the Webbed Hollow, and your goal is to track down four hidden statues and remove the talismans from them. Along the way, you’ll explore different areas, face a few enemies, and even meet one of the sisters who helps unlock a path. Follow the steps below, and you’ll be able to collect all four purple talismans with ease. This guide will help you find every single one of them.
All Purple Talisman Locations
In Chapter Four, the Purple Talisman quest takes place within the Webbed Hollow. In this quest, you’ll need to find and interact with four purple talismans hidden throughout the area. Early on, you’ll meet one of the sisters, and she’ll help you open up a path connected to the quest. Your main goal is straightforward: visit all four altars and interact with them to finish the quest.
First Purple Talisman Location
When you reach the Vendure Bridge Keeper’s Shrine, here’s what you need to do to get to the first purple talisman. Start by crossing the wooden bridge and heading to the left. If this is your first time coming through here, a short cutscene will play. Once it’s over, take the narrow path on the left side.
You’ll see some enemies nearby, but don’t worry about fighting them; just keep moving and weave your way through the white cocoons. When you get out of the spider webs, turn left again and keep running. Pass by another enemy until you reach an archway, then go up the stairs in front of you. After that, cross another wooden bridge, and you’ll spot a statue waiting for you. That’s where you can remove the purple talisman.
Second Purple Talisman Location
Once you’ve found the Cliff of Oblivion Keeper’s Shrine, simply look over to your right. You’ll see the second statue there. Walk up to it and remove the purple talisman.
Third Purple Talisman Location
Head back to the Cliff of Oblivion Keeper’s Shrine and start by taking the narrow tunnel on the left. As you move forward, you’ll need to defeat Buddha’s Right Hand to create a bridge that lets you continue. After that fight, jump down to the lower platform and keep going downward. From there, turn left and drop down again until you reach a long rope bridge. Cross it carefully to get to the other side.
Keep moving forward, and you’ll soon come to a narrow bridge surrounded by spider cocoons. This part is tricky; you’ll need to use the Cloud Step Spell to get across safely. Once you’re through, you’ll enter an area filled with greenery. Turn left and head toward the Luojia Fragrant Vine, then take another left and climb the slope ahead. Go up the stairs, ignore the enemies, and keep running. Climb one more slope, and you’ll finally spot the statue. You can remove the talisman after approaching it to start a cutscene with the Fourth Sister.
Fourth Purple Talisman Location
The last purple talisman can be found in the Temple of Yellow Flowers, close to the Court of Illumination Keeper’s Shrine. After you unlock the area, make your way around the large tree and head up the stairs. At the top, you’ll find the final statue waiting for you.
