Cruise Ship Invert The High Wires
Cruise Ship is the ninth and final level in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. It takes place on a huge cruise ship inspired by real Carnival Cruise Line ships. To complete the Invert the High Wires challenge, you need to pull off an invert lip trick on one of the high wires hanging above the cruise ship’s swimming pool. But here’s the catch you can’t reach them while the pool is full of water.
First, you need to drain the pool. When you start the level, skate down the very first ramp you see. Head over to the right side of the pool with the colorful slide, and keep going until you spot some holiday‑goers playing a giant chess game. Right next to the big blue structure there’s a rail with a wobbly valve on it. Grind across that rail to drain the pool.
Once the pool is empty, you can skate inside it. Depending on your skater’s stats, you might need to build up your special meter to get enough speed for the wires. Do a few tricks to fill your special gauge before making your attempt.
Getting the invert lip trick can be a little tricky because it’s easy to spin or accidentally grind instead. The key is to time your input as late as possible when you reach the wire. Hold left on the D-pad, press Y (on Xbox) or Triangle (on PlayStation) when you get closer to one of the high wires over the pool.
