Starfield: Shattered Space Price

Starfield: Shattered Space is a paid DLC that costs $29.99 on Steam and the Xbox Store. You can’t pre-order it anymore, and it’s not free for people who already have Starfield unless they bought the Premium or Constellation editions, which include the DLC. If you have Game Pass and want to play Shattered Space, you can either buy the DLC or upgrade to the Premium Edition. Upgrading to the Premium Edition for $34.99 is a good option because it gives you a lot of other benefits besides Shattered Space.

What to Expect in Shattered Space

This guide will tell you about all the new things in the Starfield DLC: Shattered Space. You’ll find a list of all the new content, how long and big the DLC is, and if there will be more DLCs for Starfield. In Shattered Space, players will go to the home planet of the Va’ruun and learn about their story. They’ll fight new enemies, use new items, and discover new things.

All Shattered Space Weapons

Several new weapons have been confirmed for the Starfield Shattered Space DLC. Here’s a list of all the confirmed new weapons and a look at what other types of weapons might be available.

Va’ruun Starstorm

The Shattered Space Deep Dive video showed a new heavy automatic laser weapon called the Va’ruun Starstorm, which was incredibly powerful and could quickly destroy enemies.

Grenades

The Shattered Space Deep Dive video also showed a couple of new throwable grenades, including a gravity grenade. This grenade creates a gravitational explosion that can knock enemies off balance, like the Gravity Wave Starborn power.

The video also showed a new grenade that creates blue rings and lights and deals damage.

New Va’ruun Weapons

The base game let us use some Va’ruun weapons like the Va’ruun Inflictor, Va’ruun Starshard, and Va’ruun Painblade. Since we’re going to the Va’ruun home planet in the Shattered Space DLC, we might find even more Va’ruun weapons.

New Melee Weapons

The Shattered Space Deep Dive video said there would be more focus on close-range combat than in the base game. This means we might see new melee weapons.

Planet Va’ruun’kai

The Shattered Space DLC takes you to Va’ruun’kai, the home planet of the House Va’ruun, who worship The Great Serpent. You can explore their capital city, Dazra City. You can only explore Va’ruun’kai in the DLC, but you can leave and go back to the main game world whenever you want.

Meet House Va’ruun (Questline)

The Shattered Space DLC has a new story called the Va’ruun questline. In this questline, you’ll meet and deal with different groups within the House Va’ruun. You’ll learn about their beliefs, pride, and struggles for power. The Steam Achievements list shows that there are at least 7 new quests in the DLC.

Fight Against New Enemies

The House Va’ruun opened a portal to another world, and this caused terrible creatures from that world to come to their home planet. You’ll have to fight these creatures. The Steam Achievements list suggests there are two main types of these creatures: Vortex Horrors and Redeemed.

Choose Factions

The House Va’ruun is a group of people you’ll meet in the DLC. This group is divided into smaller groups called Minor Houses, and they are all fighting for power. In the DLC, you might have to choose to help one Minor House or another.

Starfield Length and Size

We don’t know how long the Starfield DLC Shattered Space will be. But based on the new achievements listed on the Steam page, it might be as big or even bigger than previous Bethesda DLCs.

If you look at DLCs like Far Harbor, Shivering Isles, and Dawnguard, you can guess that Shattered Space might take around 8-11 hours to finish. But if you want to explore everything, it could take even longer.
