Once you hit Tier 4 in your Horadric Knowledge, you’ll unlock a new quest called To Walk Where Spirits Tread. When you go back to Bryona, you’ll learn that Astaroth isn’t the only one who’s been spreading corruption across the land. Now, it’s up to you to track down another powerful relic.
To Walk Where Spirits Tread Guide
Your journey starts east of Cerrigar. You need to follow the marker on your map until you reach the Shrine of Sacrifice. When you interact with it, you’ll perform the Rite of Sacrifice, which will call forth the Wolf Spirit. From here, things get interesting.
The Wolf Spirit will guide you through several areas. Stay close, defeat any demons that appear, and follow it all the way to Tur Dulra. Along the way, you’ll come across statues that you need to interact with. Doing so will summon demons, so be ready for a fight. Once you’ve finished “Communing” with all the statues, your task will be done.
To Walk Where Spirits Tread Rewards
Finally, head back to Bryona and tell her about the Blood Relic you’ve discovered that will complete the quest. When you complete this quest, you’ll be rewarded with the Propulsion Catalyst and the Smoldering Ember Infusion, along with a few other useful items. You’ll also earn some gold, gain experience points to help you level up, and receive a Herb Cache packed with helpful resources.
