Capybara Location in PEAK
If you’re looking for capybaras, you’ll find them in the Alpine zone. Just keep in mind that their exact spot might change when new islands appear in the game. Capybaras usually hang out in hot springs out in the open. Just keep in mind that there’s typically only one capybara spot per island, so you’ll have to look carefully. You really have to start climbing the mountain before you’ll even get a clue where they are.
A good way to track them down is by watching for steam or smoke trails rising from the mountains. Once you climb high enough, these trails become much easier to see. Just follow the smoke, and it’ll lead you straight to where the capybaras are hanging out. Sometimes, you might go a bit too far while exploring. If that happens, don’t worry you’ll just need to wait for a new island to show up before you can try again.
Animal Serenading Badge
To earn the Animal Serenading Badge, you’ll need to find and serenade the adorable capybaras. Once you’ve tracked them down, walk up to them slowly, pull out your bugle, and play a nice tune. They’ll react happily to the music, and that means you’ve done it right. It only takes a moment, and once the game shows that the serenade is complete, you’ll unlock the badge.
