This mission is the second entry in the Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC and revolves around helping Scarlet recover a Sparkling Water Can. Here’s everything you need to know to clear it—including tips for surviving all four waves of enemies and taking down the Behemoth boss at the end.
How to Start the Quest
After speaking with Scarlet, she’ll ask you to retrieve a special item—a Sparkling Water Can—that was taken by a drone somewhere in the Wasteland. Volt takes off after one of the Box Robots, and your job is to follow his lead.
Head to the southern Wasteland, just a bit east of where Scarlet is located. To make things quicker, you can fast travel to the Western Great Canyon supply camp, which is south of Scarlet.
Once you arrive, you’ll find Volt barking at a Box Robot floating above a bus. Climb up to it and interact with the robot to kick off the Operation.
Operation Breakdown: 4 Combat Waves
This combat scenario includes four back-to-back waves of enemies, with the final wave being a tough boss battle against the Behemoth. Here’s how to handle each round.
Wave 1
- Take out the Turret Droid on the raised platform first—it deals the most damage and can destroy your cover quickly.
- After that, eliminate the two Wasters and then the Sentryborg, which launches red homing projectiles that can become a big problem if ignored.
- Leave the Barnacle for last—it doesn’t attack, but you’ll need to aim for its left side because the front is shielded and immune to damage.
Wave 2
- Go straight for the two Turret Droids—they’re a serious threat even when you’re behind cover.
- Then take out the Sentryborg to avoid getting overwhelmed by its tracking shots.
- Handle the Mutated Hydra next—it leaves an area-of-effect hazard behind that can make your safe spots unusable.
Finish with the Lurker, whose ranged shots are easy to dodge with simple movement between cover.
Tip: Keep an eye out for a green robot that may appear after you’ve defeated enough enemies or used a Burst. Shoot it to refill your healing bar.
Wave 3
- Prioritize the Aid Drone—it can heal other enemies, dragging the fight out unnecessarily.
- Then focus on the four Sentryborgs, since their ranged attacks are both frequent and damaging.
- Knock out the remaining two Wasters, and leave the Heavy Droid for last. It has a shield that deflects regular bullets, so you’ll want a clearer battlefield before taking it on.
Use your triangle Burst here—it summons Adam and Lily for an AoE assault that can wipe out enemies fast.
Wave 4 (Boss Fight – Behemoth)
This final wave is a one-on-one with the Behemoth, and it’s no pushover.
- Behemoth unleashes constant wind-based ranged attacks that force you to switch cover frequently.
- When it starts to roar, shoot its head to interrupt the move and briefly stun it—giving you a perfect opening.
- For this wave, your best option is the X Burst. It gives EVE unlimited ammo for a short time and turns her regular shots into a powerful laser beam—perfect for shredding Behemoth’s health quickly.
Wrapping It Up
Once you’ve defeated the Behemoth, you’ll get the Sparkling Water Can. Bring it back to Scarlet to finish the quest. As a thank you, she will reward you with 2 Bone-Wrenches.
