How To Build a Sandbike in Dune Awakening

If you want to ride across the desert in Dune Awakening, you will need a Sandbike. In this guide, we will show you how to build one, where to find the parts, how to put it together, and some tips to use it better. It’s easy once you know how to ride.

How To Build a Sandbike

Once you unlock the Sandbike Mk1 Assembly Schematic from the Research tab in the “Across the Gap” quest, you will be able to start building the bike. To do this, head over to a Fabricator, where you can craft each part of the Sandbike. Now, to get the materials needed for crafting, you have two options: either raid Imperial Testing Stations and old underground research labs, they arethey are great for finding rare tech, or just buy the Sandbike parts from traders at various trading posts.

Once you have collected all the parts and crafted them, you will need a Welding Torch to put everything together. You can also craft this torch at the Fabricator. Now you need to equip the torch and use it to assemble the bike. Start by placing the chassis, then add the PSU, engine, treads, Hull and finally any extra features you want.

How To Use a Sandbike

If your Sandbike has a speed booster, it can overheat. Normally, you would have to wait for it to cool down, which can be stressful, especially if a sandworm is nearby. So, when your bike overheats, just hop off, equip your vehicle tool, store the bike, then place it back down and get on. It will be completely cooled down and ready to go again.

If you have added attachments to the back of your Sandbike, you will see a new skill icon pop up at the bottom of your screen while you are riding. To use it, just press the button linked to that skill, and your attachment will activate.

If you are jumping or falling through the air, you can pull out your vehicle tool and place your Sandbike ahead of you, so it’s waiting for you when you land. It is helpful when you are exploring the desert and need a quick getaway before a sandworm shows up.
