Rotten Winged Sword Insignia Elden Ring

In Elden Ring, the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia is a powerful item that helps you deal more damage the longer you keep attacking. To get it, you’ll need to help a character named Millicent and defeat her tricky sisters in a tough fight. This guide will show you how to find the insignia, explain what it does, and give you easy tips to beat Millicent’s sisters.

How to Get the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia in Elden Ring

You will find the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia in Elden Ring after helping Millicent and beating her sisters in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree.

Rotten Winged Sword Insignia Effects

The Rotten Winged Sword Insignia boosts your attack power the more you keep hitting enemies. It has three levels of bonus 6%, 8%, and 13% attack increase that get stronger as you land more hits in a row. If you slow down and don’t attack for 1.5 seconds, the bonus starts to go down. Different attacks add different amounts of points toward these bonus levels, and some spells count too. The bonus works based on hitting certain point thresholds, and while most physical attacks add points, some don’t. This boost also increases the damage of some spells, making it great for fast, continuous fighting.

How to Defeat Millicent’s Sisters

In this fight, you don’t need to face the sisters head-on. Instead, jump onto the nearby pillar to get a safe spot. From there, you can use ranged attacks like the Falling Star Bistro to take them down one by one.

Start with the youngest sister first, because she uses a powerful move with threads that can hit you if you’re not careful. The elder sister might try to jump onto the pillar, but she usually can’t stay there for long, so don’t worry too much about her.

Make sure you have plenty of FP (mana) potions ready, as the sisters are quick and dodge a lot. When one of them uses their thread attack and gets close, that’s your best chance to strike hard.

Millicent will help in the fight too, so once you’ve taken out the first two sisters, the last one will be easier to handle. Just keep dodging, use your FP wisely, and stay on the pillar to avoid their attacks.
