The Crimson Uniform Outfit (Gustave) in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a cosmetic outfit you can use to change Gustave’s look. It includes clothing, headgear, and hairstyle, but it’s just for style, it doesn’t increase stats or make him stronger in battle. To get the Crimson Uniform, you first need to collect the quest item called “A Uniform for Richard’s Son” from Richard.
How To Get the Crimson Uniform
You can get the Crimson Uniform Outfit during Lumiere, which is the prologue chapter of the game. You need to play as Sophie. Your first step is to find Jules’ father, Richard. He has a uniform for his son. You will find Richard near a statue. Once you find him, talk to him. He will offer you the uniform and you need to accept it.
Now, you need to find Jules. After the Gommage cutscene plays, the Expedition Festival begins. Remember, Emma’s speech marks the end of the festival. If you haven’t spoken to Jules by then, you will miss the chance to get the outfit and will need to start over.
You’ll find Jules near a tall lamppost. Once you find Jules, talk to him. After a brief conversation, Jules tells Gustave to keep the uniform. He feels he won’t need it. Instead of letting his father’s work go to waste, he’d rather see it put to good use. You will now unlock the Gustave’s Crimson Uniform.
To change Gustave’s outfit, just open the Pause Menu. From there, go to Gustave’s character page. Then select “Wardrobe.” Once you are in the Wardrobe, you can switch his outfit to the Crimson Uniform.
