How to Get and Use Venom Sap in V Rising 1.1

If you’re in V Rising 1.1, you’ll come across a useful material called Venom Sap. You will need it for building high-tier structures, crafting powerful items, or brewing up special coatings, Venom Sap plays a big role in helping you progress. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how to get it and break down all the important ways you can use it throughout your journey.

How to Get Venom Sap in V Rising 1.1

Venom Sap is a valuable resource in V Rising, and you can get it by defeating Corrupted Treants or from other enemies in Oakveil Woodlands. It’s one of the most common resources you can get in the region. You can also craft Venom Sap at the Advanced Sawmill after you unlock it by defeating Stavros the Carver.

Once you have the Advanced Sawmill set up, every 20 x Corrupted Wood produces 1 x Plank and 4 x Venom Sap.

You can also use the Blood Press or the Advanced Blood Press to get 12 Venom Sap from Corrupted Fish. The Advanced Blood Press is unlocked after beating Jade the Vampire Hunter and the regular Blood Press by progressing through the game quests/objectives.

Corrupted Treants are elite enemies found in the forested areas of Oakveil Woodlands. At first, they blend in perfectly with the trees, staying hidden until you get close, then they reveal themselves and attack. But, if you want large quantities of Venom Sap, crafting them is the best route.

How to Use Venom Sap in V Rising 1.1

Venom Sap is a late-game resource in V Rising 1.1 that you’ll find yourself needing more often. You will need it for building, crafting, or brewing up powerful coatings. Here’s a breakdown of how Venom Sap is used:

1. Ember Glass (Advanced Furnace)

  • 8 Venom Sap
  • 20 Emery

In Advanced Furnace you can use Venom Sap and Emery to produce Ember glass. Ember glass can be used to fuse two ancestral weapons or jewels. And it is also used to build Fusion Forge.

2. Alchemy Table

  • 16 Corrupted Flower
  • 16 Venom Sap

At the Alchemy table, you can use Venom Sap and Corrupted Flower to make different types of coatings.

  • Blood Coating
  • Chaos Coating
  • Frost Coating
  • Illusion Coating
  • Storm Coating
  • Unholy Coating

3. Purple Castle Teleporter

  • 20 Venom Sap
  • 8 Stone Brick

Use Venom Sap and Stone Brick to make a Purple Castle Teleporter, which can be used to teleport between two teleporters anywhere within your territory.

4. Blood Homogenizer

  • 1 Primal Blood Essence
  • 8 Dark Silver Ingot
  • 8 Glass
  • 32 Venom Sap

Use the above items to make Blood Homogenizer, which gives you two slots where you can drop in two Blood Potions. You can choose one main potion you want to keep, and then pick a secondary potion to take a trait from. That trait gets transferred over to the main one. If the secondary potion has 90% blood quality or higher, its IV (bonus stat) will also carry over. There’s no extra resource cost to do this, but keep in mind, the secondary potion will be used up in the process.
