V Rising’s 1.1 update, Invaders of Oakveil, adds a brand-new area to explore-the Oakveil Woodlands. Along with the fresh setting, you’ll come across a bunch of new bosses, including Jakira the Shadow Huntress. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find her and how to take her down.
How to Defeat Jakira the Shadow Huntress in V Rising 1.1
Jakira the Shadow Huntress is a stealthy roaming boss lurking in the Oakveil Woodlands. You’ll know she’s near when you suddenly hear a voice line warning you about trespassing in Venom Blades’ territory right before she ambushes you.
She kicks off the fight with a stun move using the Slasher weapon type. In earlier updates, you could unlock the Slasher from a lower-level V Blood boss, but that’s changed. Now, you’ll need to take down Jakira, who’s a level 75 boss, to get it.

Jakira the Shadow Huntress Location and Rewards in V Rising 1.1
You can find Jakira patrolling the roads in the southern part of the Oakveil Woodlands.
