One reliable place to find Rune Essence is at a Rune Essence Geyser these are small holes in the ground surrounded by colorful mist and floating rocks. At the Geyser, you’ll often find Rune Essence already on the ground which are easy to mine with a pickaxe, while the floating ones can be knocked down with a ranged attack or by casting the Rocksplosion spell.
