Goblin Diplomacy is one of the early quests you’ll come across in RuneScape: DragonWilds. In this quest, you’ll team up with Zanik to track down two ancient Bandosian Amulets hidden across Bramblemead Valley and beyond. Whether you’re here for the story, the loot, or just want the Goblin War Banner cape, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know.
How to Start the Goblin Diplomacy Quest
The quest starts off when you talk to Zanik, a friendly goblin staying out at a small camp near a cliff, just east of the Goblin Castle in Bramblemead Valley. She’ll mention that there are two amulets to find one lies to the northeast of where you are now, and the other is present in a guild down south.

From Zanik’s camp, head northeast toward the Whispering Swamp. You’ll come across some old ruins guarded by a few goblins. Since you’re still in Bramblemead Valley, these guys are only Level 1 and should be easy to deal with.
Once you’ve cleared them out, head into the ruins and look for the Reliquary chest hidden in a dim corner room. While you’re there, it’s worth opening a second chest for some basic, randomized loot. You’ll find one half of the Bandosian Amulet inside the Reliquary chest. The other half is located at the guild, but you might not actually need both. Some players have managed to finish the quest with just one piece.

To track down the Garou beastman, head to the swamps northeast of the ruins and stick close to the left cliff wall. Keep following it, and you’ll eventually spot a cave entrance marked by a torch burning outside. Go inside, and you’ll come face-to-face with a Level 3 Garou Druid. Take it down to get the second amulet for Zanik.
The druid can hit pretty hard, so if you haven’t upgraded your gear yet, make sure your Lifeward bar is full before going in. That’ll help you survive its poison attacks, which can drain your health fast if you’re not careful.
Goblin Diplomacy Quest Rewards
Once you’ve collected both Bandosian Amulets in RuneScape DragonWilds, head back to Zanik and talk to her. She’ll thank you for bringing the amulets and, with that, the quest will be complete. As a reward for your efforts, Zanik will give you the Goblin War Banner cape, which comes with a small but useful stat boost: +2 Melee Damage, +2 Ranged Defense, and +2 Magic Defense.
